Ellen Sisti is a contemporary artist based in the Philadelphia area. She is an alum of Tyler School of Art (‘21) and Towson University(‘19).

CAD/CAM allows for me to be extremely precise with my work. This piece is the opposite of that. It comes from a mill malfunctioning, creating a only partially fabricated piece. Usually, this mistake would be tossed aside. This time though, I highlighted the flaw. I made the error into the piece and in doing so I flipped the script on how I viewed the process I have been working with for years.
