Bio:
Karen is a Brazilian jewelry designer and artist currently exploring themes of sustainability and throw-away culture through mixed media pieces made of mostly recycled found materials.
Artist Statement:
Through the pieces in this collection, Karen strives to create awareness of our society’s inherited throw-away culture by using found and recycled materials. Exploring themes of reflection and play with light by using mirrors, glass fragments and holographic pigments.
