Ann Parkin (BFA) is a Canadian-born, New York-based artist whose current mixed-media art jewelry pieces explore science’s window into the poetry of existence.

My most recent work is a series of brooches exploring the use of mixed media - wood, paper, white acrylic paint, thread, sand - to express images from the hidden, subatomic quantum universe. This work is a major departure in media, tools and techniques from my earlier body of work employing hand-fabricated metal, fused metal and fired enamel.
