Bio
Education: own studio, teaching, workshops, curating since 2000 freelance, further Academy for Craft and Design Munich, and other institutions Self-taught goldsmithing, jewellery making 23.05.1953 born in Vienna.

Artist Statement
Vellum, my preferred material, proved to be a demanding subject for jewelry. Nevertheless its seemingly contradictory characteristics turned out to be the perfect response to my requirements for making comfortably wearable sculptural body adornment. This medium with its intrinsic characteristics, the delicacy of surfaces, the light-transmissive qualities and lightness seemed to me the perfect medium to create nature-inspired jewelry.
