Bio

Constanza Nolé was born in Córdoba, Argentina, on December 26, 1980. Ever since she was a child, she showed interest in activities related to creativity and fine motor skills. However, he began studying Business at UNC, but in his fourth year, she decided to drop it and keep working on what was really inside her: art and design. In 2011, she received a Bachelor degree in Industrial Design (UEsiglo21), obtaining special recognition for academic merits. Since 2012 she has been training in the field of Contemporary Jewelry, in Cecilia Richard's workshop, discovering her passion for the discipline. Her work, which explores different materials and techniques, has been selected for various competitions and exhibitions. Since 2018 she has been working on her own Contemporary Jewelry brand: FRUTO, Jewels that nourish.

Artist Statement

From the formation of Industrial Design, goldsmith techniques and materials exploration, I propose pieces of Contemporary Jewelry. The intention is to broaden the significant horizon of the objets and the evocative capacity of the materials, through pieces that propose an esthetic and symbolic experiences. The first piece I send belongs to my SUMERGIR series: Wrap´s Geology The resin-made gemstones, make this active memory come true, this memory that recalculates the matter’s age and the future of a process that expands towards creativity and desire, this playful desire that weaves a storyline between time and space. Precious stone being born, over and over again, in the beam of memory, towards a translucent and worldly childhood. The second and third pieces belong to the EMERGER series: E M E R G E R series, arises as a result of morphological examinations of how to raise the plane to three-dimensionality, and so by minimal actions, (saw cutting and unfolding), create complex structures. As a result: a piece of jewelry that capture and transmits the same movement that generated it.
