From the Dark Brooch

Bio:

My main material is recycled paper. I want to give it a second life. Re-signify those images and words that would be discarded. Each layer of paper contributes to give strength, color and shape to my jewel. And bodies function as the framework that carries my thoughts and spreads my message.

Artist Statement:

When I look for color in my work, black and white always appears first, and dominates the design. It takes time, patience and dedication to make the colors emerge and stay. And so black and white are integrated and combined, forming part of my color palette. As in life itself.
