Bio:

Elisabeth Drude lives and works in Vienna

Education

1991 – 1998 Master of Art history, Cologne University

1979 – 1983 Apprenticeship as goldsmith

Artist Statement:

In the forest I always find animal bones. By coloring individual parts, the bone structures become visible, change the character and transport the material into another dimension. These bone findings, I filled with life and time, I process into jewelry. It is my dedication to the transience of life.
