Cecilia Martinez Amanzi, France

Born in Argentina, she is an architect and a jeweler. She started taking lessons and working as an apprentice jeweler in 2011. Since the end of 2019 she is based in France where she started to explore new ways for developing her pieces by using textile materials applied to basketry techniques.

By creating a ring that steps outside the conventional way in which rigs ‘should be worn’, I DARE the costumer to use a colorful, voluminous and yet very light piece of jewelry in a non-conventional way, placed in between their fingers instead of through it. Due to its shape, this ring not only fits perfectly and adapts to all customers, but it is also a piece that's easy to wear and will not fall off when moving the hands.
