These works explore the internal struggle and battle for control, understanding, and manipulation of our perceived sense of identity. This form of internal warfare is set against the backdrop of the volatile world and ever-changing social and political climates we all must navigate. By taking one’s fears and insecurities and creating physical interpretations that can be displayed and worn, one is able to identify and control the overt and covert influences that impact our experiential reality.
