This piece was inspired by a friend of mine who unfortunately had been sexually assaulted, however, after years have passed, instead of indulging in her Trauma she turned it into a beacon of light for others who suffered this evil, and is now actively working to help rape and sexual assault victims.

I chose the Bus Stop button because of my personal sexual assault experience on a bus when I was 13.

This is an ironic piece, although the button clearly says stop, it invites the viewer to do the exact opposite and push the button on the chest of the wearer.

This piece was made to raise awareness on this topic and was accompanied by a heart collection intended to strengthen victims and to be worn as a badge of bravery, courage, and kindness which I still believe exists in this world.
