Glover Marfo, USA

This work is part of a series of works that examines the tensions in African societies. It highlights the burden of the "African Woman" who is expected to take care of the home domestically and still support the family economically yet her efforts are considered "mere house chores"

It equally explores the history of traditional weaving processes and helps me reclaim the ownership of my heritage and adress issues within my cultural lineage.
